Who we are

Pacific Floral is an importer of niche off-season floral products that complement the regular Dutch flower supply. Our approach is simple: source the best quality products, streamline logistics and bring the flowers to market at the right time to match fluctuating demand. It’s how we do it that sets us apart.

We search the world for farms that produce seasonal flowers that complement the European production cycle. Working closely with our partner agencies, we find the best logistics solution to transport products to Europe quickly and reliably. We keep a pulse on the ever-changing global flower supply and merge knowledge of local market trends to deliver the best variety of products when demand is high and local supply is low in Europe.

Our story

Established in 2016, Pacific Floral BV is the evolution of a 30-year floral industry career that spanned the Netherlands, Japan, United States and New Zealand. After 22 years of working abroad, Vincent Pannebakker returned to his roots in Holland with an ambition to create a floral trade business that leveraged his experience in import and export, and selling to supermarket chains and auctions in various countries.

What began as an entrepreneur’s dream importing cymbidiums from New Zealand and peonies from Chile to the Netherlands has expanded into an established importer of a wide variety of niche products from five continents into Europe and Japan. With international team members and partners on the ground in key regions, we ensure high quality seasonal products are sourced and delivered at the right time to meet demand in our two key markets.

Pacific Floral Japan

Pacific Floral Japan, a subsidiary of Pacific Floral BV, is a newly established importer of high quality fresh cut flowers to the Japanese market. The company imports a variety of floral products and sells directly to wholesale customers, supermarkets and flower auctions throughout Japan.  A sales and marketing team in Japan services local customers, while product sourcing is handled by an international team with expertise in different regions.

The flower is also a symbol of new beginnings, much like Pacific Floral was a new beginning after two decades away from the Netherlands.

Pacific Floral contributes to Bridge the Gap Foundation, whose mission is the treatment of the poorest children in Laos with cleft lip or NOMA and the improvement of health care and training of doctors and dentists. Supporting this foundation helps to improve the health and the quality of life of the patient.
